If you use it a lot TikTok and you already opened the application in a silent environment, you know how annoying it can be when a publication is opened at full volume, right?! ????
With that in mind, the Chinese social network offers a very simple tweak that changes that. When it’s activated, the app will open silently, without disturbing anyone around you.
See how simple it is to activate this on your iPhone or iPad!
Open TikTok and tap the “Profile” tab in the bottom right corner. Then tap the button with three little lines (in the upper right corner) and go to “Settings and privacy”.
In the “Content & Display” section, choose “Playback” and then enable “Open muted TikTok”.
If you want to manually unmute the video, just use the device’s volume controls or tap the sound icon (at the bottom right corner of the post).
Further down (still in the same part of the app) you can activate/deactivate an option that automatically adjusts the volume of the video when it is opened — ideal for when they are too loud.
