Unidentified gunmen opened fire on the building where one of the offices of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) is located in Istanbul, informed Provincial press office. According to Daily Sabahno one was injured in the incident.
The press service specified that the incident occurred on the evening of April 21. Two unidentified men, riding a motorcycle, fired five shots into the air. Four bullets hit the upper floors of the office. Police squads arrived at the scene. The building was cordoned off. Officers began searching for the perpetrators.
The chairman of the party in Istanbul, Osman Nuri Kabaktepe, condemned the attack. “We will seek consideration of the case in court. The biggest consolation for us is that there are no victims or injured as a result of the attack, ”quotes Mr. Kabaktepe as quoted by the Daily Sabah.
