Commitment to climate protection and 300,000 jobs in the automotive industry is not ’embarrassing’
Vienna (OTS) – “With today’s all-out attack on the federal government, Pamela Rendi-Wagner only wants to distract from the chaos within the party. Apparently she is hoping for more approval from her own party members by brushing the SPÖ on frontal opposition. While the SPÖ is only busy with itself, Chancellor Karl Nehammer is working on the future of our country. The fact that Chancellor Karl Nehammer is committed to openness to technology in mobility is not ’embarrassing’, as Rendi-Wagner claims, but a clear commitment to serious climate protection and the 300,000 jobs in Austria’s automotive industry. A stubborn prohibition policy, on the other hand, does not bring us a millimeter,” emphasizes the General Secretary of the People’s Party, Christian Stocker.
“The Federal Government, and above all Health Minister Johannes Rauch, are taking care of the reforms that are undoubtedly necessary in the domestic health system. All other allegations are easy to refute, as demonstrated, for example, by the care reform drawn up by the federal government. In his speech on the future of the nation, Chancellor Nehammer made it clear what will be needed in the future to provide people with the best possible medical care. The aim must be that everyone who studies medicine in Austria also works in Austria followingwards. After all, the Austrians must benefit from the excellent education at the universities,” Stocker concludes.
