Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan thanked Twitter CEO Elon Musk in his own unique way following getting a blue tick back on the micro-blogging site. Amitabh wrote on Twitter: “T4624 – ae Musk bhaiyya! Bahut bahut dhanyavaad det hain ham aapaka! Uu, neel kamal lag gava hamaar naam ke aage.” (Brother Musk! Thank you very much! That blue tick is back next to my name.) Also Read – Twitter makes paid verification mandatory for advertisers

He then spinned the song ‘Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast’ from the 1994 movie ‘Mohra’. The song was originally shot by Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon. He wrote: “Ab Ka Batai Bahiya! (gaana gaye ka mann karat hai hamaar! Sanbo ka? Ee leo suna: “Tu cheez badee hai musk musk…so cheez badee hai, musk.” It says, “Tu cheez badee hai musk musk…too cheez badee hai, musk.” Also Read – Twitter Legacy Blue flag tags are finally gone

Bachchan wrote an amusing tweet following he lost a blue tick on April 20 along with several other users whose heritage was verified. In what appears to be a Godabadi fork, the tweet quoted that he signed up for Twitter Blue but didn’t get a blue tick. He said he would fold his hands before a catcher to give him a blue flag and if he didn’t, he insisted on touching his feet.

On the work front, Amitabh will appear in ‘Project K’. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin, and stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. It will hit the screens on January 12, 2024. Amitabh will be seen in the upcoming movie ‘Section 84’, which is a courtroom drama thriller written and directed by Ribo Dasgupta.

Twitter removed all verified users from their heritage on April 20, removing the blue tick from their profile names. Earlier, blue check marks or marks were awarded following following a thorough verification process as per the company’s old verification system. But following Musk took the reins of Twitter, he reorganized the verification system into a paid service. Only those who have paid for a Twitter Blue subscription can get a blue tick. As a result, famous personalities like the Pope, Rahul Gandhi, Beyoncé, Cristiano Ronaldo, Taylor Swift, and many more government-related accounts in different countries have lost their verified status.
