Are you one of those who has kept a $2 bill in your wallet for good luck? I have news for you, it might be worth up to $4,500.

The $2 bill was first introduced to the United States in 1862, so you’d think they were worth a lot of money, but they have different values. For example:

An 1862 note can start at $500 if the note is in circulation and over $2,800 if it is not in circulation.

But what is the most expensive $2 bill? If you are lucky enough to have a version 1890 Treasury Note, then that one is worth some money. There are two versions of this bill, one that has a brown stamp and the other that has a red one. The circulating version of these notes is worth between $550 and $2,500, but if not in circulation it might be worth $4,500.

Your Quarter Could Be Worth $55

Your state quarter might be worth up to $55.

I will try to explain it in the easiest way possible. Have you seen the quarters that have the US states on one side? Those coins are called “US Mint State Quarters” and were created between 1999 and 2008. Those coins have one of three marks: “D”, “P” or “S” which signify where they were made. “D” means they were minted in Denver, “P” in Philadelphia, and “S” in San Francisco. There are also others with “S” for silver proof.

So, depending on the state and the letter that the coins have, they can be worth from $1 to $55.

Here we leave you the value of each coin of each state of 25 cents in perfect conditions with “D”, “P” or “S” according to Coin Trackers:
