Burgas student councils will present their ideas at a large forum in the Congress Center

More than 160 young people will present their ideas and recommendations at the first forum dedicated to the activity of student councils in Burgas, which will be held on April 21 at 1:30 p.m. in the Congress Center.

The event is an initiative of the mayor Dimitar Nikolov and aims to provide an opportunity and a place for dialogue between young people and the formation of guidelines for the improvement and development of the educational environment. The first edition of the forum is organized under the title “Student councils – successful activities and good practices” and will help better interaction and cooperation, as well as the exchange of ideas and experiences of students. The conference will be attended by members of student councils from 32 primary and secondary schools, profiled and vocational high schools in Burgas. In addition to presenting the implemented activities, part of the students will have the opportunity during the forum to participate in round tables, at which they will choose several initiatives to be implemented with the assistance of the Municipality of Burgas. Student councils provide an opportunity to speak out and protect the interests of students and aim to help them in realizing and respecting their rights at school, in organizing events that develop the social, humanitarian and generally all the talents that young people possess.
