In Sudan, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), which has been fighting the army since April 15, announced a 72-hour ceasefire from the first day of Eid.
“The ceasefire coincides with Eid al-Fitr. A 72-hour ceasefire will be observed from 6 a.m. local time on the first day of Eid to open corridors humanitarian aid for the evacuation of citizens and to allow them to reunite with their families,” the FSR announced on Twitter on Friday.
