Lirio Martín, Deputy Government Delegate and President of the Commission, pointed out that “the demands of these workers will be twice as high as last year, which reflects the support that companies in the sector give to this model of circular migration”.
The same source said that two files were processed under the collective recruitment management program to recruit experienced migrant workers in the sector.
These files concern three companies and 157 workers who will be transferred to Fuente el Olmo de Fuentidueña and to Chañe. It is also indicated that three other files are being processed to recruit 294 workers who did not participate in previous seasons, in three different companies. These seasonal workers will be employed in Chañe and San Martín y Mudrián, for the period from June to October.
Another offer in two files is planned for 218 workers who also have no previous experience. These workers will arrive in August and September and will work until December.
According to the information provided, the first 68 workers will arrive in the next few days, while the rest will arrive in June and September. Regarding the return of workers to their country of origin, this will be done in two phases, in October and December.
