In Cape Horn, Northern California, a woman drove her car so fast that it went off the road. What is remarkable is how far it flew, or rather: how high.
The car, a white SUV, flew up to the first floor of a nearby apartment building – and crashed into a bedroom.

The driver survived but was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The couple who live in the house were not at home at the time of the accident.
