One more case of software that integrates the powerful resources of artificial intelligence — in particular, of the GPT model —, the Short Circuit is a new AI assistant that promises to take the ChatGPT to “everywhere”.
Working on both iPhone and iPad and Mac, the software allows the user to chat with a chatbot called Shorty in text form and ask him questions in audio using automations from the Shortcuts (Shortcuts).
All it takes is a “Hey Siri, ask Shorty” (unfortunately, the app is not available in Portuguese) to ask a question on any topic — as long as it doesn’t violate the app’s policies, obviously — and receive an answer to it instantly.
When talking to the chatbot in text, it is still possible to get a kind of brainstorm with suggestions for questions and requests that can be made to the app, such as asking it to tell a story with less than ten words.
Short Circuit — which was developed by former Twitter employee Joe Fabisevich — isn’t available for free, but you can ask a few questions during a short trial period before deciding whether or not to pay for it.
Monthly subscription plans are the Starter (that costs R$15 and allows you to get 100 responses), the Pro (R$30 per 300 responses) and the Premium (R$80 per 1,000 responses). But it is also possible to acquire the app in a single purchase of R$150.
