Spanish star Rafael Nadal announced his absence from the Madrid Masters tennis tournament due to his continued recovery from injury.
Nadal suffered an injury last January and was absent from the stadiums since then, which led to his decline in the world rankings of professional players.
The Spanish star was unable to be present in the current Monte Carlo and Barcelona tournaments.
The Madrid tournament begins on April 26, a month before the start of the “Roland Garros” tournament among the major tournaments.
I will not be able to be in Madrid unfortunately. The injury still hasn’t healed and I can’t work out what I need to to compete.

I also want to send a special greeting to all the Madrid and Spanish public because I will have missed the two tournaments that are played here at home. You all know what it means for me to play these tournaments and specifically Madrid that I will not be able to play it with everything it has given me.
