The weather will be very cloudy at first THURSDAY with a risk of low precipitation, winter in Upper Belgium. Then, the cloudiness will be variable with sometimes intense showers and in places accompanied by a thunderclap and sleet, according to the forecasts of the IRM.
In the morning, the weather will initially be very cloudy with light precipitation here and there, sometimes winter in Upper Belgium. In the followingnoon, the weather will be more unstable with the return of clearings but also the development of showers (sometimes intense) which can be accompanied by a thunderclap and sleet. It will be much cooler with highs of 5 to 11 degrees, under a moderate wind and by the sea at first still quite strong from the northeast sector.
Tomorrow Friday, the weather will still be changeable; sometimes wide clearings will alternate with cloudy periods that can still cause some showers in places, especially at the end of the day. It will be milder than the day before with maximums of 12 or 13 degrees in Hautes-Fagnes to 16 or 17 degrees in Campine. The wind will be light to moderate from the east to northeast sector, later returning to the northeast sector at the coast.
The day of SATURDAY might start with a few sunny spells but the sky will then quickly become cloudy with periods of rain or showers. However, drier weather might be back in the west in the followingnoon. The maximum will be between 14 and 18 degrees in the east, and between 12 and 14 degrees in the west. The wind will be moderate to fairly strong in the east of the country (with gusts around 60 km/h), and weak to moderate elsewhere from the southeast then from the southwest.
Sunday, the weather will remain variable with showers and a moderate to fairly strong wind from west to south-west, later turning to west to north-west. It will be cooler once more with maximums of 10 degrees in Hautes-Fagnes to locally 15 degrees in the plain.
Monday, the weather will remain variable with at times some precipitation. The maxima will be between 5 and 7 degrees on the heights of the Ardennes, and between 9 and 12 degrees elsewhere, under a generally moderate wind from the north-west sector, gradually turning to the north sector.
Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather should be mostly dry except for a local shower, under a still changing sky. The weather will remain very cool with highs around 5 degrees in Hautes-Fagnes and 10 degrees in the plain. Slight nocturnal frosts will then be possible in the Ardennes.
