Carole and her companion thought they had found the house of their dreams in Messancy, in the province of Luxembourg. Today, they are disillusioned. The demolition of a neighboring building caused major damage to their home. The couple despair.

In 2021, a Luxembourg entrepreneur wants to build a building with seven apartments. This requires demolishing the building adjoining the house occupied by Carole and her companion in Messancy. The demolition causes a lot of damage to the couple’s house, which deteriorates a little more with each bad weather.

At Christmas 2021, the party wall of the house is bare and without insulation. It’s only 9 degrees in the 3 year old son’s room. In January 2022, the company in charge of the site is laying down insulating plates. They have since deteriorated.

In the summer of 2022, one of the workers drills a water pipe which, apparently, would not have been listed on the plans. Since that day, the work has been abandoned. The responsible company is bankrupt. The file is in the hands of a curator.

The couple decided to hire a lawyer. In the meantime, given the cost of repairs, their wedding plan fell through.
