Good weather and summer appear, and with them a new batch of small great jewels to get addicted to the beauty on Switch. Nintendo knows this very well. Precisely for this reason, and taking advantage of the context of the Indie World Showcase in April 2023, no less than 21 titles and DLCs have been shown. Practically a video game per minute!

Because perhaps the absence of Hollow Knight: Silksong is no longer a joke, but we must admit that we like the new Blasphemous, that this new twist to the saga NecroDancer points ways, and having extra crawls always adds extra points.

Mineko’s Night Market

  • Available September 26 on Switch and PC

Meowza Games kicks off the selection with an adventure and social simulation game with a very cheerful and distinctive style. It is being published by Humble Games and wants to be a pleasant summer surprise.


My Time at Sandrock

  • Available this summer on PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch

Farm games there are a lot, but My Time at Sandrock wants to stand out with two key concepts: a very marked Western aesthetic and a simple action system to liven up the wait.

PlateUp!

  • Available in October on Switch and Xbox. Now available on Steam.

The experience of creating, managing and expanding an authentic culinary, from the preparation of dishes to the simplest details of the restaurant that make the difference.

Quilts and Cats of Calico coming this Fall

  • Available this Fall on Switch and PC

From the board game to your nearest screen. The mythical Calico makes its way to Switch and Steam giving even more presence and prominence to the adorable kittens.

Rift of the NecroDancer

  • Available this year on Switch and PC

After his crossover with The Legend of Zeldathe new musical obsession from Brace Yourself Games has its own name: Rift of the NecroDancer. It was announced in 2022, but it won’t be long before we get our hands on this indie with Guitar Hero overtones.

Batch of DLCs for very special indies

Three big little surprises arrive in downloadable format to extend the experiences of A Little to the Left (in June), Shovel Knight Dungeon Pocket (starting in the summer) and a new update for Cult of the Lamb that is already looming and will begin play on April 24.

Animal Well

  • Early 2024 on PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch

A very minimalist metroidvania with the charm of the classics in which darkness is an essential part of the experience. Of course, we will have to wait until 2024 to get hold of him.

Crime O’Clock

  • Available June 30 on Switch

Crime O’Clock already has a date The game that combines investigation, observation and temporal elements will close in June.

Teslagrad 2 + Telsagrad Remastered

Shadows Over Loathing

  • Available on Switch and on PC. The physical edition will arrive in the fall.

It arrived almost six months following it debuted on Steam, and we suspect it wasn’t for optimization reasons. Of course, this adventure does not want to go unnoticed and already tells us that at the end of the year we will be able to have it in physical format.

Blasphemous 2

  • Available this summer on Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam

We have good, very good and not-so-good news for fans of Blasphemous. The essential: the letter of introduction of the sequel has enchanted us. And it won’t take too long to play it. However, PS4 and Xbox One players are left out. Now it’s time to live up to the original!

Oxenfree II Lost Signals

  • Available on Switch, PS4, PS5, Steam and mobile on July 12

It was regarding time to date and take another look at the sequel to Oxenfree! This new adventure that seems to be taken from the Stranger Things universe will arrive in mid-July, and if you have a Netflix subscription you can play it directly from your mobile and at no additional cost.

Paper Trail

  • Available on Switch, PC and mobile

The multi-award winning Paper Trail not only announces its arrival on Steam and iOS and Android through the Netflix subscription, but also makes its way to Nintendo Switch with its peculiar aesthetics and narrative. Welcome be!

In addition to all of the above, Nintendo closed its digital event by releasing a flurry of games and content that will round out the release schedule between now and summer, including the arrival of Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach following passing through PC and PlayStation, or a Bomb Rush Cyberfunk whose gameplay conveys summer sensations and which will arrive on August 18.
