On April 18, the Culture and Sports Department of Ho Chi Minh City launched an event called “Warm-up exercise for growth and health” at the city’s preschool (3e arrondissement). This event is part of a series of activities organized on the occasion of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27) and People’s Health Race Day 2023.

Nguyên Nam Nhân, deputy director of the Municipal Department of Culture and Sports, stressed that for a country to develop, its human resources must be healthy, intelligent, of good stature and endowed with physical strength. . This is especially true for future generations, who represent the human resources to build the country in the future. Preschool age is the most important period of growth.

Therefore, in addition to ensuring a healthy diet for children, it is necessary to provide reasonable and regular physical activity. The movements of the warm-up exercises during this launch ceremony opened a series of meaningful physical and sports events, designed to increase the height and improve the health of preschool children, with the aim of elevating Vietnamese stature.

« After the launching ceremony, the warm-up exercises for growth and health will be continued in kindergartens in Ho Chi Minh City, to create a useful playground for students, as well as to accustom them to doing regular sports, helping to develop their height and build their physical strength.
