The recent bill of the Ministry of the Interior is trying to put an end to the false sick leave of public servants. According to the new provisions, there will even be a home check by a competent examining doctor on civil servants who declare illness, in order to establish whether they are really sick. Apparently the phenomena that declared themselves sick and sick to get permits for other reasons have increased and the relevant ministry wants to put a stop to this kind of nonsense.
The order for control is given by the relevant Regional Governor or by the Governor of the relevant Health Region to the appointed by decision the respective controlling doctor at the request of the relevant institution.
