“POP Your Summer Festival: Free Music, Comedy, and Family Fun in Terrebonne’s Parks – Celebrating the 350th Anniversary!”

2023-04-19 00:25:00

The City of Terrebonne is proud to unveil the program for the POP your summer festival, back for a sparkling seventh edition to mark with a white stone. This year, the festival joins the 350th celebrations and gets a facelift. Revamped programming, redesigned formulas, comedy galas, DJs and a food zone: everything will be done to liven up the hot summer days and evenings and allow festival-goers to live memorable experiences.

Presented from June 15 to August 26, POP your summer will offer lively and unifying musical performances as well as evenings of outdoor humor – a first for the festival – which will take place in a dozen parks located in the four corners of Terrebonne. As for music, there will be something for everyone: rock, pop, folk, blues, country, hip-hop, disco, soul, funk, Latin music, world music and more. Without forgetting family celebrations and cinema under the stars. And all events are free!

New this year: a food zone served by street food trucks will be set up on the site of each event in addition to an alcoholic beverage dealer. As soon as they arrive on site, the public will be immersed in a festive atmosphere thanks to entertainment activities and DJ performances before and following the shows.

“We are continuing the festivities highlighting the 350th anniversary of the City of Terrebonne by offering an exceptional edition of the POP tonété festival, which is intended to be inclusive, diversified and very high-level, declares Matthew Traversy, mayor of Terrebonne. I am particularly proud of the program for this event, which offers a host of free, entertaining and unifying activities in the four corners of our magnificent city; it was designed to democratize culture and bring events closer to people. I invite both citizens and visitors to participate in large numbers in this unmissable cultural event. Terrebonne is waiting for you! »
