Kuwait City: The Kuwait Ministry of Health announced that 43 health centers in all health sectors have been allowed to work on a shift system during the Eid al-Fitr holidays. The ministry explained in a press release that Mirza Hussain Al Ahkhaqi Center in Daya area, Hamad Al-Saqr Specialist Center in Adailiya area, Ali Tunayan Al Ghanim Health Center in Sulaybiqat area and Jaber Al-Ahmad Health Center 2 are the 24-hour centers in the Capital Health Zone.
Munira Al Ayer Health Center in Kaifan area and Abdullah Yusuf Al Abdul Hadi Center in Yarmouk will operate from 7:00 am to 12 midnight. In the Hawally Health Zone, the 24-hour centers are the Rumaitia Specialist Center, South Sabah Al-Salem and West Salmiya centers.
West Hawalli Medical Center and Mahmood Haji Haider Medical Center will function from 7:00 am to 12 midnight. Jahra Specialist Centre, Saad Al Abdullah Block 2, Health Palace and Abdali Center are the 24-hour health centers in Jahra Health Zone. The South Sulaibia Center will operate from 7:00 am to 12 midnight.
In the Mubarak Al Kabir Health Zone, the specialized Adhan and Al Salam centers will operate 24 hours a day. Bayan and West Mubarak Al Kabir centers will operate from 7 am to 12 midnight. Sabah Al-Ahmad Center A, Khairan Center “Chalets” in Ahmadi Health Zone, Khairan Residential Center, Wafra Residential Center, Abdul Aziz Al-Rasheed Center in Bnaider, Wafra Agricultural Health Center, Ali Sabah Al-Salem Center, Raqqa, Jaber Al Ali, Fahaheel Specialist, FINRAS Specialist and West Sahiya Center are the 24-hour centers.
The centers in Farwaniya Health Zone will be South Firdaus, West Farwaniya, Andalus, Rabia and Abdullah Al Mubarak centers. Ozaimi Specialists in Khaitan, South Ardia, South Jleeb Al Shuuq and Sabah Al Nasser centers will work from 7 am to 12 midnight.
Also, blood bank service department has announced blood bank working hours during Eid-ul-Fitr holiday. It was announced that the first day of Eid will be a holiday and work will resume on the second day of Eid. The Central Blood Bank at Jabriya and the Tawuniya Center for Blood Transfusion at Adan will be open from 7 am to 7 pm. At the Central Blood Bank in Jabria, platelet donation is available only from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
