Today, Saka contacted me via Twitter to ask me if the patch 10.0.7 campaign must be completed to enjoy the Embers of Neltharion campaign. Well the answer is yes, you must have completed the Forbidden Reach quests before starting the Dragonflight patch 10.1 quests.
In itself, this is not a big problem. There is only one chapter and the quests are short and few. Also, you only have to do the questline once. Your alts will be able to skip the main quests and will receive Zskera Vault related quests directly.
It is possible to skip the quests when you take the first one at the top of the Siege of Aspects, then when you arrive at the village of Morqut at the Forbidden Reaches. You will of course not receive the rewards or reputation offered during the quests, but your alts will be able to access the Embers of Neltharion campaign directly.
Note that you can enter Zaralek Cave even if you don’t have the intro quest. The area is free to access but you will necessarily be limited in what you can do.
