Lhe banks are getting in tune with the livret A. Faced with soaring prices and rates, the government had no other solution than to raise the rate of the most popular investment among the French. First on 1 is August 2022 at 2%, then 1 is February 2023 at 3%. A rate net of tax and social security contributions.
Difficult under these conditions for the banks not to react, especially as they benefit from the rise in rates. In eighteen months, short rates have gone from negative territory to more than 3%.
