Data on the mortality and the causes of death are analyzed and compiled by the Epidemiology Center on the medical causes of death (Inserm-CépiDc). Cancers represent the second cause of death in women with 75,444 deaths in 2020. Breast, colorectal and lung cancers are the deadliest.
