Earlier, the head of the Sovereignty Council and army commander, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, said that the army may have to bring its forces into Khartoum if the fighting continues.

On the other hand, Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo (Hamidti), deputy head of the Sovereignty Council and commander of the Rapid Support Forces, told Al-Jazeera that his forces will not stop until following full control of all army sites.

In the most prominent international positions, the United States said that it had contacted countries with influence in Sudan for a cease-fire, called on the Security Council for an immediate cessation of hostilities, and said that it would discuss developments in the situation in an emergency closed session tomorrow, Monday, while the African Tripartite Mechanism said: She was unable to communicate with both sides of the conflict.
