The youngest volunteer at the farewell party

As never before, more children with their mothers and grandmothers gathered for the egg printing education. One family even brought goose eggs from home. When asked if they bought them specially, they said that they didn’t have to look anywhere, because they raise these birds themselves.

After the education, the families rushed to the lawn in front of the manor palace, where several tasks awaited them: they might “fish” a souvenir marguerite with a fishing rod, compete in an egg-rolling competition, win a relay race, and test their hand accuracy.

The tasks were organized by five volunteers – the young people of the Rokiškis branch of the Red Cross. Among them was the youngest volunteer – Lej. The boy will be six years old in May. At this event, he had a specific task – to keep his fellow Ukrainian Mykola company company. They both printed eggs and participated in various competitions. Ley’s mother, Jurgita Erslovienė, head of the Rokiškis branch of the Lithuanian Red Cross, said that she takes her son to volunteer activities, he tries to be an assistant, and this time she takes care of Nikolay. Both boys speak both Lithuanian and Russian. According to his mother, Ley taught himself Russian.

Prizes and entertainment awaited the participants at the end of the event.
