Israel – The Hebrew media reported that the Israelis felt yesterday, Saturday, a strong explosion, which was said to have been caused by a meteor that exploded in the sky in the north of the country.
The residents reported that they heard an unusually strong explosion, while the Israeli Astronomical Society indicated to the newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth” that the cause was likely to be a very bright meteorite known as “Bolide”.
And on its Facebook page, the Israeli Astronomical Society explained, saying: “We received several reports of lightning strikes that were seen a short time ago in the central region of the country in broad daylight, and were observed from the center of the country at regarding 5:20 pm in the northeast direction, and it is likely that It is very likely that it was seen from other parts of Israel as well.”
