Al-Marsad Newspaper: A picture of Tarawih prayers, under the title of the Easter Mass for the Evangelical community, during a live broadcast on an Egyptian TV channel, sparked widespread controversy among followers on social media.
Channel 5 of the Egyptian TV made a fatal mistake, following the phrase “Eid al-Aqsa” appeared on the broadcast of Tarawih prayers, which prompted a number of Egyptians to publish pictures of this error on social media, to express their anger, according to “Cairo 24”.
One of the followers commented, saying: “Alexandria channel from the evening prayer, who is going to visit where?”, While one of the followers commented: “Sorry, people are fasting, they are not home, they are in Tarawih prayers and dinner, and there is no Christian mass, may God help them.”
For his part, the head of Channel 5 (Alexandria) confirmed the validity of the images circulated to the channel, saying, “The error did indeed occur and that the images are correct, explaining that the person responsible for this error is the director of the channel, and that an investigation will be conducted with him.”
