247 – The Minister of the Civil House, Rui Costa, entered into a partnership with the Mubadala fund, which came to control the Mataripe Refinery following a controversial privatization that took place during the government of Jair Bolsonaro. According to the minister, the Arabs are going to invest R$12 billion to expand the refinery, but the news will displease nationalist sectors that supported President Lula’s election and expected the company’s renationalization as a necessary measure to change Petrobrás’ pricing policy.
