The The great Trail Run party that once once more revolutionized San Martín de los Andes reached its end this Saturday with a great joy for the sport of Neuquén. Sergio Pereyra, from Neuquén and a native of Junín de los Andes, had his revenge. After being in second place last year, He returned renewed and snatched the victory in the 100 Mile test (160 kilometers) from the Catalan Pau Capell.

In the category of Women, the victory went to the Catalan Claudia Tremps, who in her first time in the competition, marked a time of 22 hours and 50 minutesleaving behind the Argentines Claudia Verónica Ramírez and Gabriela Fernanda Foncea Ahumada.
Some 6,000 runners from all over the world were able to enjoy a week of pure running along the trails of the Lanín National Park and Cerro Chapelco, witnesses an exciting competition. On their 161.8 km course, runners they crossed forests, streams and paths surrounded by lengas and poplarswhere they might appreciate the landscapes from the summits of the three highest hills in the area: El Teta, El Colorado and El Quilanlahue.
