The accident occurred this Saturday, April 15, around 10 in the morning. A young man caused a triple crash in the access to the 11 de Octubre neighborhood in Centenario. There were no serious injuries reported.
It all happened when A 29-year-old man was drunk driving a white Volkswagen Amarok van, reported the local media Centenario Digital. The young man It circulated on Route 7 in the Neuquén-Centenario direction and upon reaching the traffic light intersection, it turned red.
Witnesses stated that the truck was going at high speed therefore, by not respecting the traffic light, ended up colliding with a Chery Tiggo car that when he was leaving the neighborhood, he might not avoid the Volskwagen. The car collided head-on with the truck, but the driver of the truck was not seriously injured.
Then the van continued on its way to the other hand and on that journey collided with another vehicle which was in the turning basin. After these two crashes, the Volkswagen lost control and that’s when it overturned, but not before hitting a sentry box and a tree.
Traffic personnel from Centenario arrived at the scene and spoke with the young man to determine the causes of the accident. After taking a breathalyzer test, the result showed that he had 1.02 grams of alcohol in his bloodminutes later he was transferred to the local hospital to be assisted.
As reported, The 29-year-old did not have a driver’s license and he was driving his mother’s truck, which did not have the mandatory insurance, for which he was issued several fines.
