Nominated for a total of 11 Oscars at this year’s ceremony, “Everything at the same time” is the film that will be shown this Sunday, at 4 pm, at Teatro Ribeiro Conceição, in Lamego.
The “sci-fi” comedy stars Evelyn Wang (Michelle Yeoh), a Chinese emigrant in the United States of America who faces the arduous task of saving the world by crossing several parallel universes, exploring all the realities she never lived, while tries to maintain relations with her husband and daughter.
The film starts at 4 pm and the ticket costs three and a half euros.
The film, directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, collected seven statuettes, including the awards for best film, directing, original screenplay and editing. The cast was also awarded: Michelle Yeoh was considered the best actress, while Jamie Lee Curtis and Ke Huy Quan were distinguished as best supporting actors.
“Everything everywhere at once” also took home BAFTA and Golden Globe awards.
