They continued as follows: László Kövér and Angelo Farrugia agreed that the joint action of their countries in international institutions and cooperation can multiply their advocacy abilities.

Malta is an independent, neutral republic – a status guaranteed by the country’s constitution – and has always been committed to peace – they wrote.

The two Speakers of the House agreed that the Russian-Ukrainian war should be ended as soon as possible with a cease-fire and a peace treaty, for which the European Union must provide effective support and create safeguards for its own security, the announcement states.

They commemorated the 175th anniversary of the sanctification of the April laws
