Are medicines for incurable diseases now available?… This is what Al-Abyad revealed

The Minister of Public Health in the caretaker government, Firas Al-Abyad, announced that “medicines for incurable diseases are now available and are included in the tracking system,” pointing out that “there are regarding 150 medicines that are 100 percent secured, but some medicines are delayed in arriving.”

As for the complaints submitted by citizens regarding the delay in their entry into the tracking system, he confirmed in a radio interview, “The Ministry of Public Health communicates with them and provides appropriate solutions, which are represented by either changing the doctor or entering them directly into the program, bearing in mind that it is the doctor’s duty to enter them into the tracking system.” so that they receive medicine every month.”

And regarding whether medicines are available in Lebanon, Al-Abyadh explained, “The problem has not been completely resolved, but there is no doubt that the tracking system has solved a large part of the problem. Out of 500 medicines, we now have 150 within the tracking system, but I consider that the problem is finally solved when every patient on his medication.”
