As of this Thursday, April 13, Avenida 5 de Julio in Barcelona was enabled as a road corridor, as part of the construction of Plaza Libertadores, which is carried out a few meters away.

The supervisor of the Transit Division of the Anzoátegui State Police (Polianzoátegui), Francisco Avilet, informed that the measure consists of favoring, especially, the fluidity in front of the headquarters of the government and the Palace of Justice, where they used to park the drivers, so that carriers can cross to alternate routes.

“We are trying to educate people, informing what are the steps to follow. At least today we have had a good result, there is a good receptivity, but there are those who have had a different opinion because they left their car and forgot, ”she said.

After the start of the work last Monday, the carriers now have Calle Flores, which is between both institutions, as the main alternate route to travel in different directions.

It was learned that the Paseo Cumanagoto avenue was cleared in the same way, so that it is part of an alternative.

In this sense, Avilet pointed out that a constant motorized patrol is maintained not only by the Polianzoátegui Traffic Division, but also by the Police of the Bolívar municipality (Polibolívar) and the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) to inform managers and workers of the steering wheel the way in which they must move, to send so much congestion.
