Desy Ratnasari Remembers When She Will Be 50 Years Old, Increasingly Afraid of Death

The arrival of the month of Ramadan always makes Desy Ratnasari sad. There is a sense of worry that he will not be able to meet once more the month of Ramadan in the following year.

Desy Ratnasari also remembers that she is no longer young. Next year, Desy Ratnasari turns 50 years old.

“It’s already old, this year it’s 50 (years). There are so many sins,” he said Desy Ratnasari met in the Mampang area, South Jakarta, yesterday.

“This is just my subjective feeling that I’m always afraid ahead of Eid,” said Desy Ratnasari when met in the Mampang Prapatan area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (12/4).

“I’m afraid I won’t be able to meet the month of Ramadan once more next year,” he said once more.

As she continues to grow, Desy Ratnasari is often reminded of death. He was just trying to keep doing good.

“The older I feel. Ouch… God will call me soon. Ouch… I will soon leave the world,” he said.

“I have done a lot, especially to be more useful for other people. I just hope that I can still meet the month of Ramadan once more,” hoped the woman who was born December 12, 1973.

This is the second year that Desy Ratnasari has gone through Ramadan without her mother. Many thoughts ran through Desy Ratnasari’s mind including the fate of her only child when she passed away.

“So I started thinking, in a little while I will leave the world, leave my children. You have to be prepared so that your children can stand on their own,” said Desy Ratnasari.

Not wanting to be haunted by negative thoughts and fear, Desy Ratnasari tries to keep doing good things. He will also prepare himself before death really comes to him.

“Yes, now worship is more timely, lots of alms,” he said Desy Ratnasari.
