We’ve talked a lot here on MacMagazine regarding how the native application Podcasts from Apple can be useful to enjoy your favorite shows.
In today’s tip, we’re going to show how you can use the function of sleep timer in the iPhone/iPad app. In summary, it allows you to choose the time at which the episode of a program is played — ideal for those who enjoy listening to them before bed, for example.
See how to use it! ????
Open Podcasts and select the desired show. After starting to play the episode you want, tap on the player (at the bottom of the screen) to expand its information.
Then, go to the icon located in the lower right corner (represented by a moon) and choose one of the options to pause the program:
- When Finishing the Current Chapter
- Upon Finishing the Current Episode
- In one hour
- In 45 Minutes
- In 30 minutes
- in 15 minutes
- In 10 minutes
- In 5 minutes
- Disabled
Therefore, the episode will be interrupted following the option selected by you — ideal for those who end up falling asleep. ????
