SSC Napoli can probably rely on superstar and goalkeeper Victor Osimhen in the second leg of the quarter-finals (Tuesday, from 9 p.m. in the LIVE ticker>>>) once morest AC Milan.
“Osimhen will be there on Tuesday,” announced coach Luciano Spalletti with a view to the upcoming home game. The 24-year-old Nigerian was absent from the ‘Partenopei’ squad with a hamstring injury when they lost 1-0 to the ‘Rossoneri’ in the first leg.
The Italian press then underlined the importance of the accurate striker for the southern Italians, making Osimhen’s absence the main reason for the CL defeat. “Without the star Osimhen, Naples will lose strength, imagination and assertiveness,” headlined “Tuttosport”.

The lightning-fast attacker has scored 25 goals and five assists in 29 competitive games so far this season and is therefore instrumental in the current success of the Italian league leaders.
With his congenial teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (14 goals and 16 assists in 33 competitive games), Osimhen is currently one of the most feared and effective attacking duos in Europe. In a few days, the duo might go back to chasing goals together, possibly a decisive trump card in Napoli’s comeback mission in the premier class.
