Belgrano wins on his return to Gigante: it’s more and he beats Huracán well

Belgrano and San Lorenzo play at the Gigante de Alberdi for date 11 of the Professional League, in what represents the return of the Pirate to his stadium, following the renovations. And it does so on a full field, with almost 35,000 people in the stands.

Quick, Belgrano went out to look for the leading role in the game and following 2 minutes he generated the first arrival. With great patience, he moved the ball from one side to the other until Ulises Sánchez hit a pass over the top for Barinaga to enter. But the shot from Rosario went over the top.

Then a couple with Vegetti. The first, with a long run by the captain and a shot from him that hit the right post, even though he was offside. Later, García passed to the middle, Jara who lowered it to Vegetti, but the shot from number 9 went over the top.

There was also an attempt from outside the area by Zapelli, but his shot went wide. And at 10 another combination came between Jara, who lowered it, and Vegetti, who tried his left foot but went over the top.

The game, at times, became very frictional. Huracán took advantage of those sections to complicate Celeste. Likewise, Belgrano continued searching, through the gestation promoted by Zapelli and García. “El Caco”, at 25, appeared in the area and tried a cross, but he ran into a good response from the rival goalkeeper. Later, there was a header from Vegetti. Belgrano already deserved the advantage.

And the goal came. It was at 33, when Ulises Sánchez appeared and he took advantage of the defenders’ doubts by finishing off with a low shot to make it 1-0.

At 37, another good individual action by Franco Jara (with a great first half), who set up space and looked for the far post, but found a good response from Campisi.
