Knife chefs, audience leader

Fierce competition in last night’s Chefi Knives Edition Amulet Game! The prize up for grabs was a special one: a bomb with several amulets, which went to Sorin Bontea, in an audience leader edition. Tonight, the amulet is seasoned with two guests from Super Neatza with Răzvan and Dani. Cătălin Rizea comes to compete with the jurors, and the taster they will try to conquer is Răzvan Simion. On the other hand, the preselection arena will give the three Chefs the opportunity to meet people who have amazing stories.

Broadcast by Antena 1 last night, between 8:27 p.m. and 11:40 p.m., the eighth edition of Chefi la cuțite achieved, among the commercial audience aged between 21 and 54, an average audience of 8.6 rating points and a share market share of 28.2%, while the next ranked,

Pro TV registered 5.1 rating points and a market share of 16.9%. And in the cities, the show was the first option of the viewers, with 7.5 rating points and 19.6% market share,

Pro TV coming in second with 5.9 rating points and 15.4% market share. In the golden minute 21:43, the show was watched by more than 1.6 million viewers.

The chef who cooked at the fourth workbench last night was Orlando Zaharia, following all 4 contestants chose their main ingredient, a type of meat, while blindfolded. The victory belonged to Sorin Bontea, following a judging by the actress Anca Dinicu – and the content of the bomb, with all the advantages it brings to the package, will be revealed at a later stage of the competition.

The culinary battle heats up tonight, the fourth claimant to the amulet being Cătălin Rizea. “I am with the Chiefs, but still once morest them, because I want to win. It would be a huge feat for me to manage to win,” he stated. The judging is ensured by a demanding taster, Răzvan Simion, who will analyze the 4 plates in detail. “They are 3 friends who know how to joke until the tape starts rolling”, said Răzvan regarding Sorin Bontea, Cătălin Scarlătescu and Florin Dumitrescu, being very aware of the importance of his decision in the amulet game that will not be missing, even this evening, of acid comments and heated discussions.

The other competition scene brings surprising stories to the food show. The three 3 Chefs have pre-selected dates with people who will amaze them with their revelations. Ciprian Crăciunescu went to Tokyo at the age of 21 with only 60 euros in his pocket. “They kept my money for 24 hours. Then it got funny. I was walking on the streets of the city, where 200 people were crossing the pedestrian crossing at once – I was used to my Rădăuțiul, where I and my shadow were on the pedestrian crossing…”, Ciprian told with humor. “Cambodia followed, where I stayed for 3 days without eating. But I was doing all this because I knew that somewhere, in the future, I would succeed”, he continued, recounting the paradoxical episode in which he was helped with money and accommodation by a Romanian living on the streets. After a difficult journey, Ciprian ended up having his own restaurant in Cardiff. “I also had 2 interviews at the BBC. I think I’m one of the few chefs on earth who’s made python goulash!” he said. The continuation of the story, tonight, at Chefi la cucite, where Ciprian will wait with emotion for the verdict of the jurors.

Another competitor, Mălin Vacariu, is a young musician from Cluj who wants to prove that life can be lived to the fullest even if problems appear along the way that seem insurmountable. After losing his sight, Mălin chose to study music, becoming a drummer – and he came to Chefi la cucite eager to perform in the kitchen as well. The whole story of the musician with an inspirational life philosophy, but also the other special moments from the competition follow tonight, at Chefi la cucite, from 20:30.
