General Abdou Sidikou arrived early this Monday, April 10, 2023 in Arlit to attend the lifting of the bodies of soldiers who died on Sunday in the attack on a gold miners convoy. This visit was used to express the compassion of the highest authorities of the country and of the people of Niger to the bereaved families of soldiers who fell on the field of honour; to be at the bedside of the wounded of this gratuitous barbarism and finally to give the trigger for a merciless hunt without truce or respite to the enemies of Peace.
A meeting was held with the entire security chain, which promises to find a definitive solution to this problem in the very short term.
