Since 2007, the multi-genre artist has invited musicians from all over the world to the Styraburg Festival at Lamberg Castle. Chamber music forms the basis of the festival. This time there will be a fine mix with the jazz quartet JD HIVE in the old theater and the jazz rock trio FS3 in the palace studio. There will also be two readings with Chris Pichler and the well-known Burgtheater actor Martin Schwab with texts by Stefan Zweig. The renowned cellist Rudolf Leopold plays works by Zoltán Kodály and Paul Hindemith for the Sunday matinée. The “paradise now” art exhibition on cultural understanding between Africa and Europe will be on display until April 30th. The Tanzanian artist Yasinta Balama is a guest in Europe for the first time.
