Porsche will notify customers by June 2 of the recall. A second letter will be sent once the parts of the remedy are available. If no remedy is available within 60 days, an interim letter will be sent to customers, followed by a final notification when the remedy is available.
Dealers will inspect suspension joints. If damage is found, owners are advised not to drive their vehicle until it is repaired. Once parts become available, dealers will replace ball joints free of charge.
