Beauty also goes through the contents of the plate. With the return of sunny days, what foods should you eat to regain your radiance? And above all, which ones are better to forget?

Let’s start with the essential provitamin A, in other words beta-carotene. It helps to fight once morest skin aging and accelerates the synthesis of melanin, the source of skin color. You will find it in many products. Their sign of recognition? Their color is often orange (carrot, apricot, melon) or red, like peppers for example.

Don’t miss out on vitamin C. It gives tone of course, but also plays a role in the firmness of the skin. Set your sights on kiwi, but also citrus fruits, oranges or even lemons.

For cell renewal, another vitamin is to be preferred: vitamin B. This time, favor red fruits: strawberries or raspberries.

For their part, vitamin E and selenium protect cells from oxidation. You will find vitamin E in large quantities in oilseeds (almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, etc.) and in sunflower and corn oils. As for selenium, why not enjoy a good seafood platter?

If a trace element is essential for the proper functioning of the cells of the epidermis, it is zinc. You will find it in oysters or crab.

What should be avoided?

Of course, if certain foods are to be preferred, others must be banned… Thus, limit as much as possible refined sugars and industrial foods containing glucose or fructose, which, consumed in excess, promote the production of sebum. In addition, wrinkles and dry skin often go hand in hand with a high consumption of red meat and cold cuts. Finally, coffee and alcohol promote dehydration of the epidermis.
