In addition to developing practical accessories, Native Union from Hong Kong has also focused on sustainability in recent years.Seeing that hybrid work has become the new normal following the epidemic, co-founder and CEO Igor Duc led the Paris design team to launch「W.F.A Backpack」, Let everyone take it to “work from anywhere” (“work from anywhere”). This trendy product is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles inside and out. Each backpack is said to be equivalent to 36 plastic bottles, which is not only environmentally friendly, but also brings strength and water resistance to this special canvas characteristic.

WFA Backpack weighs regarding 600g, with dedicated pockets and compartments to accommodate up to 16-inch laptops, keys, chargers, water bottles (the 710ml version of Ringo has been tested, no problem at all), and even small trackers such as AirTag, Tile or Chipolo device. Native Union wanted the pack to last, too, so they’ve given it reinforced stitching, YKK zippers, thick organic cotton shoulder straps, and Cordura military-grade tough fabric.

Another special feature of the WFA Backpack is a piece of customizable leather plate Velcro between the shoulder straps, allowing you to print your name or motto for free when ordering, and you can easily tear off the recycled leather when you want to give the backpack in the future.

WFA Backpack is now available at Kickstarter On the shelves, the early bird discount price is €99 (regarding HK$850 or NT$3,300), and then the official price is €149 (regarding HK$1,300 or NT$5,000). This crowdfunding project will end at 12:00 am on May 13th, and it is expected to ship in July.
