In her letter, Shakira explained that her two children, Milan and Sasha, had lived a very difficult year, and had suffered continuous siege and relentless persecution, imposed by the media and photographers in Barcelona in particular.

And she added that her two children are starting a new stage in their lives today, so she asks all the media on behalf of both “Milan” and “Sasha” to respect their right to privacy.

“I beg you not to follow them when they enter or leave school, or wait for them at our door, or follow them in their extra-curricular and recreational activities, as was the case every day in Barcelona, ​​for photographs or the best shots and reviews,” she added.

In her letter, she added that she is fully confident that journalists and photographers are sensitive people, who appreciate the situation that her two children are facing, and that they are able to act in more humane ways, bearing in mind that what they are doing is directly related to the health and physical, emotional and psychological safety of two children under eight and ten years.

Pique’s former girlfriend noted that the elderly cannot live in peace in light of their constant persecution by cameras, and they will not feel safe and peace of mind in such circumstances, noting that the situation of children may be much worse if this siege continues on them.
