Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s service fund has collected 470 million riyals overnight. Saudi King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman initiated the third National Service Fund with the first donation. The Saudi king contributed 40 million Saudi riyals and the crown prince 10.7 million riyals. The campaign to donate to the National Service Fund started at 11 pm on Monday. 470 lakh Riyal donations were flowing in before dawn on Tuesday morning.
Donations to the National Service Fund are accepted from companies and individuals. Ibrahim Bin Abdullah Al Hussini, Chief Executive of the National Platform for Charitable Work, explained the information regarding this. Saudi energy giant Aramco has contributed $30 million to the National Fund.
Real estate developer ROSHN contributed $25 million. Jarir Investment also contributed 20 million Rials. Saudi National Bank contributed 15 million riyals. Ibrahim Bin Abdullah Al Hussini, Chief Executive of the National Platform for Charitable Work, said that the Ihsan platform is available 24 hours a day to accept donations.
