2000 international buyers from 35 countries and regions attend the 3rd CICPE in Hainan FTP

The 3rd China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE or Hainan Expo) opened on April 10 in Haikou City, capital of China’s southernmost province Hainan.

The 3rd CICPE, which concludes on April 15, hosts 3,300 boutique consumer goods brands from 65 countries and regions from around the world.

Guest of Honor Italy brought 147 brands to this year’s Expo. Products from Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Ducati, Panerai and other top Italian brands will be on display in the Italy Pavilion, covering an area of ​​1800 m² (regarding twice as much as last year).

One of the key events of this year’s expo, a major product launch, will take place on May 12th and 13th. 118 products and product series from 28 renowned Chinese and international brands, including L’Oréal, Kärcher, Carpigiani, Diageo, Platinum Guild International, Huawei and Dell, in the fields of fashion, perfume, jewelry, alcohol, high-quality food, electronics and biotechnology will be presented for the first time presents. Lifestyle, art toys, traditional crafts and bronze sculptures from China’s ancient Summer Palace (or “Yuanmingyuan” in Chinese) will also be on display – a first for CICPE.

According to the Expo Organizing Committee, 2,000 international buyers from 35 countries and regions including France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand are present at the Expo and looking for the best deals.

Held for the third time this year, CICPE is China’s first international consumer goods exhibition and Asia’s largest exhibition of its kind.

The expo, which has been held in Hainan for two years, not only provides a trading platform for high-quality consumer goods from around the world, but is also an important part of building a free trade port with Chinese structures in Hainan.

In the past two years, a number of companies from participating countries have set up shops, factories and even headquarters in Hainan to take advantage of the political advantages of Hainan’s free trade port. Statistics show that brand names and leading companies from 52 countries, such as LVMH (France) and Richemont (Switzerland), are already represented in Hainan.
