Daoud was known for his creativity in presenting comic roles, and during his career he participated in more than 50 series, the most famous of which is the sitcom “Dawood’s Ticket”, where he presented the character “Dawood”, whose friend, sister and husband seek to marry him, and in each episode he meets a new girl he plans to marry. However, every time he is surprised by a new defect in the bride, in addition to his works “Oh Ana, Ya You”, “Al-Fattin” and “Marriage Nest”.
In addition to his comedic roles, Daoud excelled at impersonating tragic characters in a framework of human social drama, including “Moudi is a Piece of Gold”, “Ain Al-Dheeb”, “In Memory of the Shadow”, “Across a Street”, and “Uncle Saqr”, in which he excelled. By presenting the role of a blind “hawk”.
Daoud went through the experience of presenting fawazeers in “Daoud in Hollywood,” which was shown in 1998, and in every episode of fawazeers he would imitate a foreign or Arab movie in a comic style, and the question would be regarding the name of the movie.
In 1978, Najeh shone in “Abu al-Funun”, where he participated in the plays “The Sword”, “Noura” and “Win ​​al-Saada”, following which he presented more than 50 plays, including “Bye Bye London” with Abdel Hussein Abdel-Ridha, “The Return of Raya And Sakina, “By Accident,” “Vitamin Wow,” “Two Dimensions,” “Qarqe’an,” “Toy Story,” “A Teenager in the Fifties,” and “The Beautiful Policewoman.”
