Libya – Economic analyst Mukhtar al-Jadid said that with regard to lending of any kind, the source of funds in it is commercial or specialized banks, and behind them is the Central Bank, and the government has nothing to do with the matter.
Al-Jadeed indicated in his post on the social networking site “Facebook” that if there was an achievement, it is for the Central Bank, and if it was a failure, it is for him.
He stressed that people should realize that the government is intruding on the matter and interfering with what does not concern it.
And he continued: “The question is, what is the central bank’s position on the government’s talk regarding loans? And did the Central Bank study the file, study its repercussions, and study the impact of the volume of loans on the money supply and on the economy as a whole?
