The victim, Rubén Carlos Segovia, 62, was found with multiple stab wounds on the public road at San Luis and Irigoyen Freyre streets, nearby Plaza España. Despite being transported to the José María Cullen Hospital in an ambulance from Sies 107, the man was pronounced dead on arrival. Witnesses reported seeing a couple on a motorcycle at the scene of the crime, and the police promptly arrested Paola Vanesa C., 38, and David Leonardo S., 39, who were driving in the area of Pellegrini Boulevard and 9 de Julio. During the early hours of Monday, a man was stabbed to death in the center of the city of Santa Fe, becoming the twenty-third homicide of the year in the department of La Capital.
The victim’s body was found by police personnel following the neighbors alerted Central 911 regarding the presence of a person who had fallen on the public road in San Luis and Irigoyen Freyre streets, that is, a few meters from Plaza España.
When they arrived at the scene, officers found a man with multiple stab wounds.
The victim was transferred to the José María Cullen Hospital in an ambulance from Sies 107, but arrived lifeless.
The unfortunate man was identified as Rubén Carlos Segovia, 62 years old. His vehicle was parked a few meters from the crime scene.

In this sense, the police quickly moved their cards and minutes following the personal event of the Motorized Brigade arrested the suspects, when they were circulating in the area of Pellegrini Boulevard and 9 de Julio.
The arrested were identified as Paola Vanesa C., 38 years old, and David Leonardo S., 39.
