Curse of the Sea Rats, a hand-animated ‘rat-shedding’ game, has been released

Company PQube released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC “rat-sipping” Curse of the Sea Ratsdeveloped by the studio Petoons.

Set in 1777, four British prisoners are turned into rats by pirate witch Flora Burne. The heroes want to regain their human bodies, but for this they have to fight dangerous bosses, discover the secrets of the coast of Ireland and catch the very unbearable person who cursed them.

Players will be treated to wonderful hand-crafted animations that bring the characters to life. The artists were inspired by classic cartoons and games from the golden era of 2D platforming.

You can explore the non-linear world alone by choosing one of the four characters, or in the company of friends. The passage will take regarding 12 hours.
