Dzyuba did not shake Semak’s hand after losing Lokomotiv to Zenit

Lokomotiv striker and former Zenit football player Artem Dzyuba refused to shake hands with the head coach of the St. Petersburg team Sergei Semak following the match between the teams. He explained this by not seeing Semak.

The incident occurred following the loss of Lokomotiv to Zenit in the match of the 22nd round of the Russian Football Championship with a score of 2:1. After the match, the head coach of Zenit went to the Lokomotiv football player, but he went towards the under-tribune room.

Dziuba told reporters that he “simply did not see” Semak. “I didn’t see it, it’s no big deal. Tired, probably, ”the head coach of Zenit later said (quote from “Sport Express”).

Artem Dziuba played for Zenit in 2015-2022. Together with the club, he became a four-time champion of Russia, received two Cups and four Russian Super Cups, and was the team captain. In February 2023, he moved to Lokomotiv. In an interview with journalist Nobel, the football player said that he had no conflict with Semak, but they did not talk.

About the match “Zenith” – “Lokomotiv” – in the material “Kommersant” “The leader won back the victory.”
